1. Each night review the work done in class (i.e. notes taken in class, review handouts, review homework assignments and readings)
2. Have a study partner that you can call if you have questions, are missing notes, or are absent from class.
3. Study with as few distractions as possible (i.e. music, TV, or social distractions)
4 Flashcards can be useful when memorization is required.
5. In your textbook pay special attention to the words and their definitions that are in the margins.
6 If you are absent from class make sure you talk with another student the next day to find out what you missed in class. Sometimes handouts are given or assignments are given that you will be responsible for.
